In order for you to enjoy this holiday, we’ll be taking you to places that might need you to show a little stamina in terms of hiking, you will be performing a good deal of ascents and descents. And the temperature during the summer can be high and can make you dehydrated and will definitely have a negative effect on your trekking performance, generally, you will be following a series of well-established trails between valleys and villages. You should also be comfortable with sleeping in the outdoors and walking up to 9 hours each day and for several consecutive days. This Moroccan tour is rough, challenging, and most of all exciting and not for everybody. We do promise you one thing, and that’s having a really good time and experience the mountains in Morocco.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Marrakech. You have a free day to relax, or use the day to further explore Marrakech. You have a wide variety of options such as exploring the Djemaa El Fna square or wander in the souks and visit the iconic Koutobia mosque. You will meet the rest of the troop and your travel guide at night where you’ll have your group meeting dinner.
In the morning, you will drive into the foothills of the Atlas mountains, heading to Oukaimeden, which is known to be Morocco’s most popular ski resort. At this point, you will stop for a delicious picnic lunch and admire the gorgeous mountain views that will definitely take your breath away, these Moroccan mountain adventures are one of a kind, and you’ll surely love your adventures here. After meeting up with your trekking team, you will begin to trek! setting off on a steady ascent to the top of the first pass, the Tiz N’Aaadi which is 2980m high. After stopping to enjoy the views you will then trek downhill to our camp at Foussarou, (2500m) and that mountain faces the Berber village of Tacheddirt. In the night, after enjoying a dinner you will settle down for your first night under the starlit skies of these gorgeous mountains.
After having a delicious breakfast in the morning, you will begin to ascend for about 3-4 hours to the summit of the Tizi-n-Likemt pass (3550m), and passing by the gorgeously colored hillsides, this particular trek is a challenging one as you will have to trek to the top of the pass, but this challenge turns into a delight when you reach to see the magical panoramic views. After having a quick break to rest and capture some amazing photos you will descend south to the area of Azib Likest (2250m), where you’ll have your lunch and have some rest while dipping your feet in the stream. After filling up, you will continue hiking through a narrow, rocky valley and then settle down at our camp on a high meadow.
You’ll be starting your day with a short hike heading towards the Tizi-n-Ourai pass, from there you can see the summit of Mount Toubkal. You will trek through some small villages that are down to the valley, there you will have your delicious lunch. In the afternoon you will climb through a valley reaching lake Ifni, after that you will set up camp at the end of Lake Ifni, and that happens to be the biggest lake in the central part of the Atlas.
Today you will hike to the basecamp in Toubkal, after climbing above the lake and following the valley of the Assif. This place is one of the most spectacular passes in the Atlas, with a high altitude reaching 3650m, this amazing rocky pass is between the two highest peaks in the Atlas - Toubkal and Ouanoukrim. You then hike down into the upper part of the valley of the Mizan river, and then you’ll arrive at the Neltner refuge, also known as Toubkal Basecamp. Trekkers use this as a basecamp before they set off tho the summit of Toubkal, you will spend the night camping at this place before continuing for tomorrow’s hike.
On this day, you will climb to the summit of Mount Toubkal which is 4167m, and it is North Africa’s highest peak! after enjoying an early breakfast you will set off on a steep ascent, while winding east. After that you will pass between two peaks reaching a high basin, you will then continue upwards reaching a ridge-line where a perfect scenery shows. You will have plenty of time to rest and take breathtaking photos of this beautiful place.
You will then descent to a hut, this will take you approximately two hours, after arriving with your guide and the rest of the troop, you will enjoy lunch. In the afternoon you’ll walk back down to our accommodation in the Village. In Ait Souka you will overnight and spend a lovely night there.
You’ll have a short walk down to Imlil in the morning, where you and your tour guide will meet your driver and head back to lovely Marrakech. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a brief tour of the city with a local guide, and then in the evening you will check out the Djemaa El Fna square, this legendary main square is full of snake charmers, dancers, henna tattoo artists and much more. Finally, you will have your dinner tonight at a local restaurant to share your thoughts with the troop and relax a little.
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, you will be transported back to the airport.

Your passport must be valid for atlas six months in order to enter Morocco. Please make sure that you stamp your passport once you’re in Morocco. That will allow you to stay for up to 90 days. Entry fees are not charged.

If you are to cancel your tour, your cancellation request must be written, either via fax or email.
In some cases, you are entitled to a partial refund. A standard fee will apply, as it is clearly outlined on your receipt, and Signature Morocco must receive your original voucher before your refund applies.
The following scale of charges will be applied if you cancel your tour prior to the balance due date:
- More than 40 days : 10% deposit retains + transaction fee.
- More than 30 days: 25% of the total will be charged.
- More than 15 days: 50% of the total will be charged.
- More than 08 days: 75% of the total will be charged.
- 7 days or less : 100% of the total will be charged.
No-show cases will not yield a refund.
You will be refunded once Signature Morocco has received the funds back from its suppliers (i.e. hotels, transport companies, service providers)
