This place is going to be the starting point for your walk on the next day.

Day 3

Tizi Ouzarzam

In the morning, after having a leisurely breakfast, you will meet your trekking crew who will accompany you for the next few days. Mules will carry your luggage in order to facilitate the trekking fun. You will see small oasis dotted with fields of barley and slopes of fig trees on your first sight. The trail weaves through an amazing valley before you begin going uphill heading towards a volcanic side of the Sahro. Filled with deep gorges and rocky peaks, you will pass a number of the Ait Atta nomadic camps and local shepherds.

After having a small break you will head over to Tizi Ouzarzam pass. After arriving, you will reach our camp and settle in for an amazing night under the starlit skies.

Day 4

Mount Kouaouch

After having a delicious camp breakfast, you will prepare yourself to go uphills, heading for Mount Kouaouch, this is considered as one of the most prominent peaks of the Sahro region. The area is known to be dry, in fact, its the driest in the Atlas Mountains with annual rain falling between 100-300mm. And that makes a wonderful landscape.

When you reach the highest point of your journey, you will feel rewarded as you gaze into one of the most wonderful scenes in Africa, as well as the snow-capped peak of Mgoun. If you turn your attention to the south, you will begin to see the start of the gorgeous Sahara Desert. After taking your photos that will forever remain in your photo album, you will start to descend to the campsite on the rocks of Tassigdelt, also known as the Camel’s hump!

Day 5

Tadaout ’n Tablah

On this day, you will experience something a little more different, you will now be heading up on high plateaus of Tadaout ’n Tablah. The rock formations on this amazing region are famous and draw trekkers from all over the world. As you continue on with your walk, you will definitely see some Berbers that have been in Morocco longer than the Arabs, who had arrived in Islam in the 7th century. Ali's Gate (Bab Ali) is the most impressive formation, in addition, you will have an opportunity to be at the bottom of these monoliths in an area that’s similar to Monument Valley in the US. The campsite for the night is awfully close to Ali’s Gate. You’re welcome!

Day 6

Tizi n’Tichka Pass

For this day, your journey will take you through some scenery that’s similar to the American southwest, quirky rock formations and US ‘vibed’ monoliths. First, you will pass many dirt roads that are being used as trade routes ’till this day. Then, you will go through some small villages as you continue to the foothills on the other side of Jebel Sahro. After that, your path will also pass by some farms that are known for producing wheat, clover, tomatoes, chilies and carrots.

You will set up camp for this night one last time before heading back to Marrakech tomorrow.

Day 7

Tizi n’Tichka

On your final journey back to Marrakech. You will head past the snow-capped Atlas peaks and cross some amazing rivers. You will have a brief stop in Ouarzazate, North Africa’s Hollywood; this place is known to be host to some amazing Hollywood blockbusters, such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Gladiator and many more. After driving over Tizi n’Tichka pass again, you will arrive at Marrakech. The rest of the day is up to you to further explore Marrakech; before meeting up again to have one last succulent Moroccan meal.
